Once a month, a new MP3 arrives — me reading a poem in my own voice, set to piano.
Sometimes the music is mine, composed for the poem. Sometimes it’s a classical piece, played by one of five pianists I’ve been lucky enough to work with — from England, the United States, Bulgaria, and Lebanon.
This isn’t a podcast. It isn’t a voice memo. It’s a poem given a room to live in — and a reason to close your eyes, take a walk, or sit in the dark and listen.
Why two ways?
Because some poems need to be seen. And some need to be heard — with a piano underneath them, and nothing else asking for your attention.
